Agave angustifolia -v- marginata


Beautiful, freely suckering, densely formal rosette with stiff-erect, short, sword-shaped leaves, bluish-green with broad white marginal bands and little brown spines.

From the Cactus' King's Personal Log:
2010 Burned to Center and came back
Tolerates the 29 degree Fahrenheit weather. In 2011, Covered same plant with plastic tarp during a long cold snap with ice and 22 degree weather. Still burned leafs but not as many. Also known as the Agave Augustifolia blue green with edge.

Grows to 6' Diameter and 6' Tall

This plant grows on a tall stock like a Yucca plant making a nice round globe effect.

Also good to use the leaves as a wood smoke flavor for barbecue.
