Ferocactus herrerae


A globular barrel cactus, becoming cylindrical and a grayish dull green. The has 13-14 slightly wavy ribs with long white areoles bearing eight to ten whitish radial spines and one hooked central. The flowers, diurnal and appearing in summer, are funnel-shaped, reddish with yellowish edges.

Synonym: Ferocactus wislizeni -v- herrerae
