Use African Violet Fertilizer

To Propagate: Cuttings are easy to root or to cross pollinate to make seed.

Tip: A cats whisker is a very handy tool for this. Insert whisker in the flower of a plant, remove and insert into the next flowering plant. Placing the whisker inside the flower, move it back and forth, plant to plant. A long pod will form 3" to 8" . This pod will split down the center and all the seeds will catch the wind with the hairs on both sides of the seed. To stop this, bind the pod with tape or a rubber band capable of keeping the pod from splitting open.
