Erect tree-like succulent , in habitat with the appearance of a cactus-like euphorbia; thick gray stems set with short, thorn-like branches which at their ends produce one long spine and several shorter ones, and soft succulent, narrow-cylindrical green leaves.

The Cactus King's plants are also featured in the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom's partner parks. These include their water park, amusement park, crocodile park and botanical gardens.
