Puya coerulea -v- coerulea


Description: 

This is a rarely seen plant in the wild. It comes to us from Chile. The coerulea sends up a 2-4 foot magnificent flower cluster with Pink, Red, Blue, Purple colors. It will form a large colony of offshoots, which can be separated. The leaves have sharp spines on the edges. The Puya coerulea will take 4 or 5 years to reach flowering size.
