Yucca treculeana

The Yucca treculeana typically only forms branches towards the top. Leaves are stiff, sharp and pointed. Leaves can grow up to 3' long by 3" wide, forming in large clumps at the ends of stems or branches. Dead leaves hang below the live ones. Flowers are white or faintly purplish. They form in dense, showy clusters above the plant's leaves. This species blooms in March and April. Fruits take on a capsule-like shape. Fruits are typically 4"in length with a 1" diameter.
