Nolina texana
The Nolina texana is a perennial with large/woody basal stems growing in a clump. It is indigenous to Texas. The succulent's evergreen leaves are firm, textured, long and thin. Its leaves are dark green with white edges. At full maturity, they grow up to 4' long by 3/16 of an inch wide.
Flowers are small and white to cream in color. The Nolina texana's flowers form in dense, vertical clusters 10+ inches long by 2+ inches wide. These clusters form at the tops of short stems. Flowers typically grow during the spring and early summer months. They are just barely visible above the plant's foliage. The Nolina texana produces 3-lobed fruit.
