Live in a big city and your balcony (AKA fire escape), just won't fit all of your plants? Perhaps you simply want to take relaxation to the next level by adding some indoor greenery. The list below covers species for those interested in indoor, columnar cacti.
First, let's talk light...
>South facing windows recieve the "best" light (strong/bright sunlight all day).
>West facing windows receive long periods of direct sunlight, but will typically miss the hottest/most intense light of the day.
>East facing windows receive a low to medium amount of sunlight. The sunrays will be less intense.
>North facing windows receive a minimal amount of sunlight.
Both south and west facing windows are your best bet. Consider the fact that an average window filters out 40% of UV rays. In the event that a south or west facing window is unavailable, you may consider providing a supplemental light source (i.e., full spectrum LED).

The Cactus King's cacti and succulents have gone international! If you ever find yourself in China with a little spare time, head to the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. It is the largest Aquarium in the world (no big deal, pun definitely intended).
